Georgian PM, US Senior Advisor review strategic partnership

The importance of the existing strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States and strengthening their cooperation in “various fields” were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Louis Bono, the US Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations.

 

The meeting focused on the situation in the South Caucasus region and noted the importance of the PM’s regional Peaceful Neighbourhood Initiative, the Government Administration said.

 

The head of the Government thanked Bono for his country’s “strong support” for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, peaceful resolution of the conflicts on the territory of the country and the policy of non-recognition of its Russian-occupied territories.
