Georgian PM hosts US Georgia State Governor at official dinner

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Saturday hosted Brian Kemp, the United States Governor of the State of Georgia, and his delegation at an official dinner to mark the latter's first official visit to the country.
The Government Administration said the dinner in honour of the visiting official was hosted in the resort town of Bioli near Georgia's capital Tbilisi.
Meetings held during the visiting official's trip covered issues of “strategic partnership” and the dynamics of fruitful cooperation between two countries.
The “strategic partnership” and the dynamics of fruitful cooperation between the Georgian and United States governments were discussed on Friday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Brian Kemp, the Governor of the US State of Georgia.

The importance of the existing strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States and strengthening their cooperation in “various fields” were discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Louis Bono, the US Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations.
Cooperation plans were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between Brigadier General Roman Jokhadze, the Commander of the Georgian National Guard, and Major General Thomas Carden, the Adjutant General of the United States Department of Defence for the State of Georgia.
Brian Kemp, the United States Governor of the State of Georgia who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, on Saturday hailed the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his team’s “hospitality and dedication”.
Bilateral partnership agenda was discussed on Monday in a meeting between the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Derek Mitchell, the President of the National Democratic Institute, an American non-governmental organisation.
