Parliament Speaker, National Democratic Institute President review cooperation

Bilateral partnership agenda was discussed on Monday in a meeting between the Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Derek Mitchell, the President of the National Democratic Institute, an American non-governmental organisation.

The officials reviewed the agenda of the bilateral partnership, as well as further steps for cooperation, the press office of the Georgian Parliament said.

Papuashvili and Mitchell also discussed the needs of the Georgian legislative body and opportunities for NDI engagement.

The meeting also focused on current events in Georgia and the region, as well as policies and visions of the Georgian and US governments with regard to them.
