The Georgian national rugby team defeated the Netherlands in the second-round match of the 2023 Rugby Europe Championship on Saturday in an away game at the National Rugby Center in the Netherlands capital city of Amsterdam.
The national team, coached by Levan Maisashvili, claimed the victory with the final score of 40:8, following six tries, including two tries by Giorgi Chkoidze and Mikheil Gachechiladze, as well as one by Davit Niniashvili and Lado Chachanidze. Tedo Abzhandadze and Luka Matkava also contributed with accurate conversion kicks.

After two rounds, the Lelos have two wins, as they defeated their German opponents with a score of 72:12 in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi last week.
The Georgian team is set to hold its next game against Spain on February 18.
