Charles Michel, the European Council President, on Friday highlighted Georgia’s commitment to the European Union integration remained “strong”.
In a social media message following his meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on the sidelines of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference hosted in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Michel noted he had reaffirmed the bloc’s commitment to Georgia to the PM.
“The EU welcomes the continued efforts to advance on the reform agenda and the action plan to address the steps necessary, in the interest of the Georgian people”, he said.
Georgia’s commitment to the EU path remains strong. And I reaffirmed to PM @GharibashviliGe the EU’s commitment to Georgia.
