Police arrest Georgian actor Kakha Abuashvili for violence, threats

Georgian law enforcement officers have arrested Georgian actor and music artist Kakha Abuashvili for violence and threats, the Interior Ministry confirmed to the media on Sunday.

Abuashvili, known by his artist name Kabu, was taken into custody by the police on Saturday and is currently held at a pre-trial detention centre, according to reports from local media outlet Interpressnews.

As the media reported, the Georgian artist was allegedly arrested for violence and using threats against a woman.
