Robin Dunnigan, the United States Ambassador to Georgia, on Friday called for inviting “more American companies in Georgia” and vice-versa during her interview with Imedi TV.
Dunnigan told the channel she had held meetings with representatives from “many companies” and the Georgian Government to discuss ways of attracting more American investment to Georgia.
She said US-financed programmes supported the growth of Georgia's economy, small and medium-sized businesses and farmers.
Speaking about US investments in the country, the diplomat mentioned the International Development Finance Corporation’s $250 million investment in “different sectors” of Georgia.
