Paweł Herczyński, the European Union Ambassador to Georgia, on Tuesday said the bloc was "looking forward" to seeing improvements in conditions for doing business in Georgia.
The European Business Association annually publishes the Business Climate Index in Georgia. We sincerely look forward to improvements in the conditions for doing business in the country. All this is about getting closer to the European Union, increasing prosperity and creating conditions for both Georgian business in Europe and European business investments in Georgia”, Herczynski said.
Speaking at the EU-Georgia Business Forum, hosted in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, Herczyński said meetings between Georgian and EU companies were “very important” to ensure the business climate in Georgia was “conducive” to the activities of EU-based companies.
This is a very important meeting, and I am proud that the EU is a part of it with direct financial support and the help of the European Investment Bank, which helped us organise the annual event", the diplomat said.
The event was organised by the European Business Association in partnership with ProCredit Bank Georgia and the European Economic Cooperation Platform.
