Georgian Finance Minister, US Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili on Wednesday met Robin Dunnigan, the Ambassador of the United States to Georgia, to discuss bilateral relations between the countries, the Ministry of Finance said. 

The officials discussed capacity-building within units of fiscal authority subordinated to the Ministry with support provided by the US.

Khutsishvili shared information with the Ambassador on measures taken by his office and the Revenue Service for the enforcement of the international sanctions imposed on Russia for its ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Finance said Dunnigan praised the body’s efforts for the enforcement of the sanctions and the existing cooperation.
