Georgian Foreign Minister invited to NATO ministerial

David Zalkaliani, the Georgian Foreign Minister, has been invited to the meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member and allied states, with the event launching next week in Brussels.

Between April 6-7, the ministerial will gather ministers of Australia, Finland, Georgia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Sweden and Ukraine.

Beside the national officials, it will also involve the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The first day of the two-day ministerial will involve the gathered ministers in a working lunch, with the North Atlantic Council holding two sessions on the subsequent day. The in-person meeting will be chaired by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
