Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday hosted his Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov and the country’s delegation at the official dinner, during their official visit to Georgia.
The dinner was held in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi at Mtatsminda [landscaped park located at the top of Mount Mtatsminda overlooking Tbilisi], where the officials travelled by the Funicular tram, sightseeing the capital.
During the visit in the frames of the 9th Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Garibashvili and Asadov held a meeting discussing issues on regional stability, economic cooperation, energy security and the prospects of further strengthening the strategic partnership.
The memorandums of agreement between Georgia and Azerbaijan for cooperation between their state agencies of commerce and natural resources were also signed earlier today.
