Close partnership between Georgia and Israel and prospects for its further development were discussed on Friday in a phone call between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid.
Lapid congratulated his Georgian counterpart on his recent appointment on the position, the Georgian foreign office said.

The conversation between the two officials then focused on the potential for economic cooperation, as well as partnership in security matters. The ministers reaffirmed their readiness to continue the “close ties” between their states.
