The subject of Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations was discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his Dutch counterpart Wopke Hoekstra.
Darchiashvili underlined his Government was thankful for the Netherlands’ support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
Our countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year and we're committed to foster the cooperation,” the top Georgian diplomat also tweeted.

On his part, Hoekstra reaffirmed the desire of the Netherlands to strengthen the cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries, including Georgia.
The meeting focused on challenges faced by Georgia, in particular the situation in the Russian-occupied territories of the country.
Darchiashvili is on an official visit to Brussels between Wednesday and Friday to hold a series of high-level meetings with EU and NATO officials.
