Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has held an official meeting with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso, during his visit to Glasgow for the UN Summit, where the importance of political stability in Georgia was emphasised following the municipal election run-offs.
Garibashvili has stated that the role of the EBRD is critically important for Georgia on its path to economic transformation and EU aspirations.

President Renaud-Basso has reaffirmed the EBRD’s commitment to support Georgia in overcoming coronavirus-related difficulties and to promote strong, sustainable and inclusive recovery from the pandemic.
Odile Renaud-Basso noted that the EBRD continues to work closely and fruitfully with the Government of Georgian,” the government administration reports.
The EBRD has implemented a total of 266 projects in Georgia, the cost of which amounts to € 4,294 million.
