Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met the Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg in Glasgow on the sidelines of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference where they discussed the importance of further deepening of trade-economic ties between the two countries.
The successful and effective partnership between Georgia and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) has also been on the agenda of the meeting, the Georgian government administration reports.

Garibashvili has thanked Chancellor Schallenberg for his support of Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty and for his significant contribution to the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM).
He has reiterated that Georgia remains committed to EU integration, noting that the country continues to implement the Association Agreement (AA) and the Free Trade Agreement.
The need to ensure greater involvement of the Associated Trio and to offer additional mechanisms for EU integration was also emphasised,” the government administration reports.
Garibashvili has invited Chancellor Schallenberg to Georgia as two countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2022.
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and Austria were established on March 25, 1992.
The Embassy of Georgia to Austria first was opened in 1993 while the Embassy of Austria in Tbilisi was launched in 2016.
