Georgia's Under-18 national rugby team has won the Rugby Europe U18 Championship 2021 after defeating Portugal in the Russian town of Kaliningrad yesterday.

The junior 'Lelos' have have gone through the U18 Championships 'without conceding a try' handed a defeat to Portugal 27 to 0.

Dedicating their victory to the victims of the residential building collapse in the Georgian seaside town of Batumi, the junior 'Lelos' are very saddened by the tragic incident claiming the lives of nine, including three minors.

The U18 'Lelos' have previously won the 2019 Championship against Spain, adding to the 2018 title earned in the game with France.
A win over Portugal now marks their third win in the Rugby Europe tournament.
