Georgia's Under-18 team is in the final of the Rugby Europe U18 Championship, where they will face Portugal, after easing past Belgium in the semifinal in Kaliningrad, Russia on Wednesday.
The team led by Zurab Amonashvili scored six tries without conceding a single one in return, with the final scoreline 37-3 reflecting the control the Lelos had over the match against their Belgian counterparts.
Luka Sakhelashvili, captain Petre Khutsishvili, Davit Khuroshvili, Nika Lomidze and Gigi Kurkhul were all on the scoresheet for the tries, earning their squad the spot in the finals. Nikoloz Sutidze, playing on the No. 8 position, was named Man of the Moment for the Rugby Union report of the semifinal game.

In the other semifinal fixture, Portugal defeated Spain 31-12 and booked the spot against Georgia, set for Saturday at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
The U18 Lelos won the 2019 Championship against Spain in the final, adding to the 2018 title earned in the game with France. A win over Portugal would mark their third win in the Rugby Europe tournament.
