Georgia’s Under-18 national rugby team won the Rugby Europe U18 championship for the fourth time in a row after defeating Portugal 34:10 on Sunday.
The junior Lelos began the game with attacks, with Luka Tsirekidze scoring for his team in the third minute. Mikheil Kakhubia followed with a try on minute 15, with Tsirekidze converting.

Luka Khorbaladze scored his own try in the 23rd minute of the match, with Tsirekidze adding another to mark the 20:7 first half score in favour of the Georgian team.
Khorbaladze, Alexandre Jighauri and Tsirekidze led the team’s performance in the second half, with Lado Tkabladze scoring another try and Tsirekidze contributing further for the final score 34:10.

Georgia hosted the championship for the first time, with squads from Belgium, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania, Germany and the Czech Republic also involved.
