4 more right-wing activists detained for attacking journalists at Tbilisi Pride counter rally

Police have detained four more right-wing activists for attacking journalists at the Tbilisi Pride counter rally on July 5.

The Interior Ministry reports that the four individuals have been detained for unlawful interference with the journalists' professional activities under the threat of violence and for group violence.

Police found that the detainees, identified only as A.N and T.D., verbally and physically assaulted a journalist and a cameraman of TV Pirveli while fulfilling their professional duties, while the other two detainees, I.K. and T.KH verbally and physically assaulted the cameraman of Mtavari Arkhi TV on Rustaveli Avenue on July 5.

The MIA reports that a total of seven individuals have been detained for attacking journalists at the Tbilisi Pride counter rally.
