Giorgi Nikolishvili was attacked by right-wing activists at the Tbilisi Pride counter rally while he was performing his professional duties. He lost consciousness and was taken to hospital soon after the attack.
Palitra TV cameraman Roma Tarugishvili, who was also attacked by right-wing activists on July 5, will leave New Hospital Clinic today. His health condition is stable following surgery.
Head of the New Hospitals Giorgi Kordzakhia said Tarugishvili will continue treatment at home.
The health condition of cameramen of TV Pirveli and Georgian Public Broadcaster, Lekso Lashkarava and Ilo Tvaliashvili, is stable.

Tvaliashvili received eye injuries as a result of an attack by right-wing protesters when he was performing his professional duties. He said a chemical liquid was poured on his face.
A total of 53 journalists of various media outlets were injured while covering the rally of right-wing activists against the Tbilisi Pride march that was scheduled for July 5.
The Interior Ministry reported today that a total of seven individuals have been detained for attacking journalists on July 5 in Tbilisi.
