Georgia reports 326 new cases of coronavirus, 1 death

Georgia has reported 326 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours.
The new cases were recorded in:
- Adjara region - 235 cases
- Imereti region - 38 cases
- Tbilisi - 30 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 14 cases
- Guria - 6 cases
- Kakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Samtskhe Javakheti - one case in each region.
Georgia has had 6,192 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

Since then 3,120 patients have recovered, while 37 others have died.
As of today 3,035 remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.

The health condition of 28 patients of a total 3,035 is critical.
The recently deceased patient in Kutaisi was a 69-year-old man who suffered several underlying illnesses.
Both individuals had underlying diseases; the 82-year old woman had severe respiratory failure with bilateral pneumonia, ischemic heart disease and diabetes, while the 79-year-old man had chronic heart failure, acute renal failure, acute heart failure, bilateral pneumonia and acute respiratory failure.
Asymptomatic coronavirus patients will leave self-isolation after 12 days without conducting a repeat coronavirus test, said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.
Georgia has reported 179 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, marking a slight decrease in the number compared to yesterday’s 196 new infections. Georgia has had 2,937 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 1,422 of the 2,937 patients have recovered, while 19 others have died.As of today 1,496 individuals remain infected with COVID-19 in the country.
All foreigners entering Georgia, including from Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia – countries to which Georgia has opened its borders unconditionally – will be required to present PCR test results from the proceeding 72 hours to enter Georgia or undergo PCR testing at their own expense in a laboratory located at the airport.
Two more coronavirus patients have died today in Georgia, increasing the death toll to 39.
Georgia has reported a record-high, 448 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 241 of the 448 new cases were recorded in the country’s western, coastal Adjara region. Georgia has had 6,640 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.3,419 of the 6,640 patients have recovered, while 39 others have died. As of today 3,182 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country. 35 of the 3,182 individuals are in critical condition.
Georgia has reported 453 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 297 of the 453 new cases were recorded in the Adjara region of western Georgia. 295 patients have recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, while two elderly individuals with several underlying illnesses have died.
