Georgia reports 453 new cases of coronavirus, 295 recoveries

Georgia has reported 453 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 297 of the 453 new cases were recorded in the Adjara region of western Georgia.
295 patients have recovered from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, while two elderly individuals with several underlying illnesses have died.

The new 453 cases were recorded in:
- Adjara region - 297 cases
- Tbilisi - 78 cases
- Imereti - 52 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 6 cases
- Shida Kartli - 6 cases
- Guria - six cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 2 cases
- Kakheti - 3 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 2 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 1 case
Georgia has had 7,093 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

Since then 3,714 individuals have recovered and 43 others have died.
As of today 3.336 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
Georgia has reported a record-high, 448 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 241 of the 448 new cases were recorded in the country’s western, coastal Adjara region. Georgia has had 6,640 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.3,419 of the 6,640 patients have recovered, while 39 others have died. As of today 3,182 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country. 35 of the 3,182 individuals are in critical condition.
Two more coronavirus patients have died today in Georgia, increasing the death toll to 39.
Georgia has reported 326 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the past 24 hours. Georgia has had 6,192 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020. Since then 3,120 patients have recovered, while 27 others have died.
Both individuals had underlying diseases; the 82-year old woman had severe respiratory failure with bilateral pneumonia, ischemic heart disease and diabetes, while the 79-year-old man had chronic heart failure, acute renal failure, acute heart failure, bilateral pneumonia and acute respiratory failure.
Imedi TV journalist Zura Balanchivadze has tested positive for coronavirus. All of his contacts have been informed and they went to self-isolation, Imedi TV announced. The TV company continues to broadcast.
