Snow season opens in Goderdzi ski resort on December 28

The winter season will open this weekend in Georgia’s iconic winter wonderland Goderdzi, the newest of the country’s four winter resorts on the slopes of the mountainous region of Adjara.

The Mountain Resorts of Georgia has announced ‘numerous attractions’ that await winter enthusiasts this weekend in Goderdzi.

On December 28 the snow season will open with concerts from folklore ensemble Bermukha. There will be various entertainment activities for children.

This is the newest video about Goderdzi, showing the best of the ski resort. Video was created by New York City-based British advertising, marketing and public relations agency Ogilvy on the order of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara.

There is one hotel accommodating 12 people and six modern cottages in Goderdzi.

Also a new hotel Daviti has opened in Goderdzi, featuring 13 rooms, capable of catering to 40 people.

The snow season has already opened in Gudauri and Mestia.
