Action plan developed to improve tourism services in Georgian ski resorts

An action plan has been developed to address the challenges of ski resorts such as parking lots, traffic jams, the intensity of road cleaning work, tourism services, health services and security, announces the press office of the Georgian government.

A coordination group consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local self-governments has been visiting winter resorts during the past week to better understand the challenges of mountain resorts. 

As a result, specific tasks were developed to be carried for better tourism in ski resorts.

We must act based on a strictly written plan to have the winter season in accordance with the reputation of [Georgian] mountain resorts and expectations of our citizens and tourists,” said Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
