The Georgian National Tourism Administration has announced ‘numerous attractions’ that await winter enthusiasts this weekend in Mestia.

On December 22 the snow season will open with outdoor exhibitions at 15:00 in Mestia, where ice sculptures, a photo zone and Christmas market will also be available to guests.

An hour later, a drum show will be held, followed by a fire show at 17:00.

Georgian famous singer Stefane will take the stage with a DJ at 18:00 and finally the snow season opening ceremony will be ended with a large firework display.

The snow season is also planned to be opened in Goderdzi, the newest of the country’s four winter resorts on the slopes of the mountainous Adjara region.
