Two new factories will be created in different regions of Georgia within the state program ‘Produce in Georgia’, which supports and stimulates the local agricultural industry.

Today the Government approved the two projects and said these new businesses would come to life in the near future.

Firstly, a factory that produces mineral water in Georgia’s Bolnisi municipality, Kvemo Kartli region, will be established. The new business will employ 10 people.

Meanwhile 1,000 people will be employed in a new textile manufacturing plant in Georgia’s Black Sea port town Poti.

About 9,000,000 GEL (about $3,900,000/€ 3,460,000*) will be invested in building a textile manufacturing plant in Georgia’s Black Sea port town Poti. This plant will employ 1,000 people.
