Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili is participating in the 60th Munich Security Conference on the weekend as part of his visit to Germany, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

Within the framework of the major international forum for high-level debates on global security issues, Darchiashvili is set to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts.

The Conference, aiming to discuss security challenges facing the world, is attended by the heads of state, foreign and defence ministers, as well as representatives of international and non-governmental organisations and civil society.
