A Georgian delegation chaired by the country’s Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze on Tuesday joined more than 50 top military officials from NATO member and allied states in Brussels to discuss assistance to Ukraine amid its ongoing defence from the Russian invasion.
The meeting discussed strategies and initiatives to assist the country in combating the ongoing Russian offensives, such as improvement in partner logistical supplies for the country’s armed forces.
As we convene for the 9th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, I’m reminded of the positive difference these gatherings make for Ukrainian forces. Coordinating our efforts and country donations continues to yield tangible dividends both on and off the battlefield. pic.twitter.com/4IKFkiXw2z

The Georgian Defence Ministry said the ninth edition of the Contact Group had been organised by the United States Department of Defence, hosted at the NATO headquarters and led by US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin.
The inaugural gathering of UDCD was held at the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany in April of the last year, with Burchuladze joining the gatherings since June, starting with the third session in Brussels.
