The Georgian Government on Monday approved an action plan for fulfilling the priorities set out by the European Commission in its recommendation for the country to be granted the European Union membership candidate status.
The Government Administration said the 70th session of the European Integration Commission, led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, discussed the agenda of reforms and the action plan for implementation of the recommendations.
It said the plan, to be sent to the Commission, described “specific steps” to be implemented within the recommendations and defined responsible agencies and deadlines for implementation.
It added the document was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Georgian Parliament and involvement of “all relevant agencies”.
