A new promotional video showcasing the beauty of the landscape, marine and mountain attractions of Georgia’s Black Sea Adjara region is being broadcast by Germany’s Deutsche Welle outlet, the regional Adjara Tourism Department said on Tuesday.
The body said "millions of viewers from about 195 countries" would see the video, produced in 30 languages and as part of the Department's TV campaign.
DW first highlighted the regional capital Batumi in 2018.
A similar promotion was launched by Eronews earlier this month to promote the city as a “secure and diverse” travel destination, the Department said.
The Tourism Department has been organising press tours hosting media professionals from various countries to promote the region. It said last year about 500 journalists, bloggers and representatives from tourism agencies visited Adjara as part of the promotional campaigns.
