Trains running between the Georgian capital of Tbilisi and the Black Sea city of Batumi will carry promotional visuals and information for the UEFA Under-21 European Championship, as the countdown to the kick-off of the football competition started on Monday.
Co-hosted by Georgia and Romania, the event will be promoted on the trains running between the two cities, while displays in carriages will tell passengers about the competition over the 50 days remaining to its launch.

Georgia’s seaside cities of Batumi and Poti will host matches of the tournament alongside Tbilisi, with Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest playing host to fixtures in Romania.
The Championship will open with a game in Romania, with the final to be hosted at Batumi’s recently opened stadium.
The Georgian squad will face Belgium, Portugal and the Netherlands in Group A of the competition.
