Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Tuesday assessed Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s visit to Brussels, saying at the official meetings, Georgia had been “once again” highlighted as an “important and valuable” partner of NATO in the region.
The cooperation and partnership [with NATO] provide concrete tangible results for strengthening security in the region, and it will be continued in the future too”, the FM noted.
Darchiashvili emphasised the recent meeting between Garibashvili and Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General, which had focused on the “main cooperation” issues in NATO-Georgia bilateral relations, reviewing practical cooperation, as well as the current dynamics between the alliance and the country, the Foreign Ministry said.
