Revenue Service seizes $307,344 worth of undeclared mobile phones

Customs officers at the Kazbegi checkpoint on Georgia's northern border with Russia have seized about ₾768,250 ($307,344) worth of undeclared mobile phones, the Revenue Service said on Monday.

The Service said a citizen of Armenia had been found to be in possession of 462 undeclared devices.

The phones were retrieved from the individual's vehicle and baggage, it added.

The case has been handed over to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance.
