The Tbilisi-based Ilia State University (ISU) has established a programme to offer teaching opportunities to Ukrainian academics placed “at risk” by the Russian invasion of their country, the university announced on Tuesday.
In its statement, the University said the ongoing war had demonstrated the significance of expertise on Ukraine’s language, politics and culture, and “revealed a scarcity of relevant academic resources.”
The ISU has announced three positions for Ukrainian academics interested in leading classes and engaging in other academic activities at the University in the following fields:

The University said three representatives of Ukrainian universities/research institutions would receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of $1,000 and be provided with accommodation in the capital city during their work.
