Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Thursday said the war in Ukraine was “absolutely unacceptable” and added his government was supporting Ukraine on “all international platforms”.

The war in Ukraine, of course, is absolutely unacceptable. We support Ukraine on all platforms. Our desire is for this war to end as soon as possible and our task and desire should be not to prolong this war, but our common task should be to stop this deadly war as soon as possible”, Garibashvili said at a joint press conference with the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán.

In his remarks over the matter, Garibashvili noted the conflict had affected “many areas”.

Of course, all this affects the prices, this has given rise to other types of problems, such as the crisis in the field of energy, and of course, this needs to be dealt with appropriately and adequately”, he said.
