David Bakradze, Georgia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, on Monday delivered the country’s position on peace, security and disarmament at the meeting of the general assembly’s disarmament and international security committee.
In his remarks, Bakradze condemned Russia’s aggression against Georgia and Ukraine.
Georgia’s permanent representative to the UN also reviewed the “militarisation” of Black Sea and South Caucasus regions as a result of Russia’s hostile actions.
Bakradze also stressed the “security threats” from the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia in his comments.
