Georgian, Polish FMs discuss cooperation, partnership

Cooperation and partnership between Georgia and Poland was discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian foreign minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations general assembly. 

The meeting focused on the agenda of bilateral relations between the two countries and “successful cooperation” within the framework of international organisations, the Georgian foreign office said.

The officials noted the “friendly and partnerly” ties of the two countries and Poland's support for Georgia both on the path of the country's integration into the European Union and NATO, as well as on the issue of deoccupation of Georgian territories.
