Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday signed a decree appointing David Bakradze as the country’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
Bakradze performed the duties of the Georgian Ambassador to the United States between December 2016 and April of this year.
In his new posting Bakradze succeeds Kakha Imnadze, who has been appointed as the Georgian Ambassador to Canada.
Leaving NY, proud to have made my contribution to the cause of #Georgia & of #UN.
