Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili on Monday condemned the latest Russian strikes across Ukraine as “an indiscriminate attack on civilians meant to destroy [and] instil fear”.
In her comments Zourabichvili stressed “all of Georgia” stood with Ukraine as missiles hit locations in the country.
Terrible news of bombing of Kyiv and other cities. An indiscriminate attack on civilians meant to destroy, to instil fear. But the world has seen the determination of the Ukrainian nation”, the Georgian president tweeted.

Russia struck cities across Ukraine during rush hour on Monday morning, killing civilians and destroying infrastructure in an apparent revenge after president Vladimir Putin declared an explosion on Russia’s sea bridge to Crimea on Saturday a “terrorist attack”.
Cruise missiles hit busy intersections, parks and tourist sites in downtown Kyiv for the first time since Russia used them against the capital in June.
