Georgian President expresses condolences to families of Georgian volunteers killed in battle near Bakhmut

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Saturday expressed her condolences to the families, friends and relatives of all Georgian volunteers who had been killed in the battle near the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut.

Five more Georgian volunteers were killed in Ukraine, which was confirmed by the Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine, Giorgi Zakarashvili, the Public Broadcaster announced on Saturday. 

Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, more than 30 Georgian volunteers have been killed in the battle.
