Hadas Meitzad, the new Israeli Ambassador-designate to Georgia, on Thursday said she was looking forward to “further deepening” the close relations between the two countries.
In her remarks the Israeli diplomat highlighted the “rich history of friendship” and bilateral ties.
“Israel and Georgia have a rich history of friendship and diplomatic ties. I am looking forward to further deepening our close relations as well as to enjoy this beautiful country”, Meitzad said.

Meitzad succeeds Ran Gidor, who served as the Ambassador to Georgia since 2019.
