Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and Polish President Andrzej Duda have expressed their solidarity with Ukraine amid the Russian military buildup at its border at a joint press point yesterday evening.
The officials highlighted that Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine is a matter of concern for the international community.
President Zurabishvili noted that the solidarity with the Ukrainian people is not only a verbal expression, as Georgia has experienced the Russian occupation as well.
Our solidarity, by the way, is not just verbal solidarity. This is solidarity from a country that has already suffered and is still suffering from occupation, and so we understand very well what the people of Ukraine feel today, and we fully share that, she said.
