President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili will address the Parliament on March 14 with an annual report on the most important issues facing the country, InterPressNews reported.

Irakli Kadagishvili, the Chairman of the Parliament's Rules and Procedural Issues Committee, told InterPressNews the legislative body's bureau would meet on Wednesday for the decision to convene a plenary session next week to host the President.

Zourabichvili asked the Parliament to host her address on March 5, with her initial request not supported by the Parliament.

The Georgian President recently returned from a series of meetings she held with leaders of partner states on the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
