Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his gratitude to Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili for support on the Day of Unity of Ukraine celebrated today.
President Zurabishvili reaffirmed her support for Ukraine on twitter, pointing out that Ukraine's Day of Unity is "particularly significant" for Georgia, as both countries are facing the occupation of their territories.
In response, President Zelensky thanked President Zurabishvili in Georgian.
I am grateful for Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili's support and Ukraine's unity. We appreciate it! With friends and partners, we strengthen Ukraine," Zelensky wrote.

President Zelensky declared February 16 the Day of Unity of Ukraine amid the Russian military buildup at the Ukrainian border.
President Zurabishvili, along with Polish President Andrzej Duda, expressed her solidarity with the Ukrainian people at a joint press point on February 3.
The Georgian parliament adopted a resolution in support of Ukraine on February 1, condemning "any military intention" aimed against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
