Georgian FM to hold meetings at European Commission, European Parliament

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili will visit Brussels on Wednesday to hold meetings at the European Commission and European Parliament, the foreign office said on Tuesday.

On Thursday, an event dedicated to Independence Day of Georgia, marked last Thursday, will be held in the historic building of the City Hall on the central square of Brussels, where Darchiashvili will address the audience.

Officials and diplomats representing Belgium, the European Union and NATO have been invited to the event.

An exhibition dedicated to Georgia's European integration process will also be organised within the framework of the event.
