Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited agriculture projects during his tour in Georgia’s winemaking Kakheti region on Saturday.

With a total investment amounting to 1 million GEL, the state-funded refrigeration farm seasonally employs 60 people.

Within the framework of the Preferential Agrocredit Project, the state granted over 2,400 loans worth more than 273 million GEL for the development of storage and refrigeration infrastructure. The Georgian PM pledged the state would “actively continue” supporting local farmers.
