Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited dry fruit enterprise Kerki in Georgia’s southwestern town of Keda in Adjara region on Sunday.
During his visit, Garibashvili talked with Kerki owners and employees, highlighting the importance of local enterprises to boost production and create new jobs.

Kerki produces five types of products, including dry fruit, nuts, candied peels, and the Georgian traditional desserts - churchkhela and tklapi.

Launched in 2021, the enterprise is supported by the state programs, the European Union, USAID and TBC Bank.
Tornike Rizhvadze, the Head of the Government of Georgia’s Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili and Infrastructure Minister Irakli Karseladze accompanied Garibashvili during the visit.
