I started visiting the regions of Georgia to “personally” inspect the progress of the ongoing infrastructure works, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili during his tour in Georgia’s southwestern Adjara region on Sunday.
Garibashvili recalled visiting the Georgian municipalities during the 2021 pre-election campaign, saying he had promised the local residents to implement “lots of projects,” many of which he would inspect during his ongoing regional tour.
Active works, pertaining to urban development projects, are taking place in all municipalities,” the Georgian PM noted.
Garibashvili visited the dry fruit enterprise Kerki in Adjara’s small town of Keda earlier today. He later proceeded to see a beekeeping farm in the same town, highlighting the importance of the apiculture field.

Afterwards, the Georgian PM visited the vineyard of a local farmer in the village of Dzentsmani, noting the state-implemented agriculture programmes served to replace the imported goods with local products.

Garibashvili also inspected the ongoing rehabilitation works by the coastal strip in the seaside town of Kobuleti and the construction of a weightlifting base in the resort town of Chakvi.
