Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova “belong” to the European family, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola said on Wednesday following her meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili in Brussels.
Papuashvili and Metsola discussed the cooperation between the Georgian and European Parliaments and the EU integration of Georgia, the Press Office of the Parliament of Georgia said.

Metsola also underlined rule of law, independent judiciary and real parliamentary dialogue were “essential” for democracy.
