Police have seized illegal firearms and ammunition in Tbilisi and in the western Georgian city of Kutaisi today, detaining three individuals for the illegal purchase and possession of firearms, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During a search and seizure at the detainees’ places of residence, the law enforcers have seized Makarov and TT firearms, handmade pistol with four magazines, FI hand grenade and various types of ammunition.
